Managing Director DICP
Simone Tedeschi serves as a Managing Director of Deutsche Invest Capital Partners GmbH (DICP) as well as a Managing Director of Deutsche Invest Capital Solutions (DICS). On behalf of DICP, Simone is responsible for co-investments and relationships with selected family offices across Europe and Growth Markets. Simone has significant international experience in private equity and private debt transactions in both mature and emerging markets combining operational skillset with financial agility. Based in London, Simone currently supports an international consumer business and a frontier market financial institution as a director and advisory board member.
From 2011 to mid-2018, Simone has been a Managing Director in the Private Equity and Special Situations team of VTB Capital in London with a focus on investing in growth opportunities for the principal capital of the bank as well as funds of selected international co-investors across Europe.
Prior to that, Simone served as a senior investment banker at Standard Bank in London and Morgan Stanley between London and Hong Kong in equity financing, equity derivative and illiquid credit teams.
Before joining Morgan Stanley, Simone worked as a corporate finance lawyer at Allen & Overy in Milan and Linklaters in London for nearly five years. During 2002 and 2003 Simone worked with the private office of the Italian Minister of Finance at the time on international law and tax matters.
Simone received a J.D. (cum laude) in 1998 at the University of Messina (Italy), qualified as an Italian lawyer in 2000, as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2002, and obtained an MBA from the Bocconi School of Management in 2003.
